We are all guilty of thinking the worst. Be it in work, relationships, friendships, family, or even ourselves.
Some of the time, it will be true. It is a form of self-defence. We are automatically programmed to always expect the worst in order to avoid disappointment.
But it is that very judgement that breeds even more negativity.
Thinking the worst in life is like constantly carrying a huge load. It makes you feel awful, it makes you develop new insecurities, inflict negative behavior from your side upon others around you, and it makes others respond to that negatively as well. In the end we all suffer from a ‘worst case scenario’ way of life… Contagious and painful. A vicious cycle in a world that’s already filled with too much chaos.
I just don’t want to live that way. We are souls in essence; sparks of light and purity capable of love, peace and happiness. It’s time we see that in each other. It’s so challenging to see the best out of every single scenario and to not judge either, but it’s with a positive perspective that you can truly transform your journey in life.
Being able to see past even our worst flaws, and looking only at the good, towards our core, and as hard as it may be, inspires a new energy.
This is how we evolve.
This is how we become human beings.
Simple, and pure.
