I know this might sound crazy to about 99.9% of most of you my dear readers, but I just have to say it: I don’t drink Coffee. It makes me feel so uncomfortable with its heart-pounding effect. This makes me rarely, just rarely, crave a sip of the black Arabian kind. Just a sip… However, I just couldn’t but luuurve this coffee scrub prescribed by my lovely beautician.
– 1 cup ground coffee (I used Arabic one)
– 1 cup brown sugar
– 1/2 cup olive oil (or baby oil if you don’t like the smell of olive oil on your skin)
Mix the above ingredients well, and massage to your clean, damp skin. Enjoy the aroma, then once done, rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry.
The result is a softer, brighter complexion, and a refreshing feeling left by this scrub after peeling off dull dead skin. Caffeine also is excellent to reduce puffiness of your extremities that result from long hours of running errands or simply sitting behind the desk.
