‘Le Depart,’ a masterpiece dated 1957 by Paul Guiragossian, depicts in colors the reality experienced by many of the Lebanese people, who under their country’s difficult circumstances, have been obliged to depart and leave their homeland & beloved ones, seeking for a better future.
Paul Guiragossian (1926-1993)
From 1989 to 1991, Paul lived in Paris with his family, and painted his largest masterpieces. He then had a solo art show at the IMA (Institut du Monde Arab) in 1992.
