Reviewing the Youth Code Skin Care Line by L’Oréal Paris
My future looks sunny.
Unfortunately, so did my past, and now my skin is paying for it. (Spots, fine wrinkles, tired complexion, slight redness in the T-zone, and dullness have all come to light.)
Luckily though, I have been introduced to the Youth Code skin care line by the L’Oreal Paris Levant team. To decide on the creams that are right for me, I simply used their mobile application (L’Oreal Skin Genius App), discovered which line best suits the needs of my skin, et voila! I got the products shipped to my doorsteps.
Each of the four products in the Youth Code Youth Boosting collection (available here) pulls double duty, thanks to cutting-edge formulas which include hydrating agents, and the amazing Pro-Gen technology that instantly softens my skin and helps it look rested and luminous.
Here’s how my daily skin routine goes by:
1. In the AM:
– I thoroughly scrub my face, apply a toner, then pat a few drops of the Youth Booster Serum (which makes my face smooth and fresh within minutes, and also smells amazing).
– I apply my sun-block (more on that in a future blog post).
– I then apply the Youth Boosting Day Cream over my face, and gently pat the Eye cream around my eyes (this one did help with my tired eyes and the dry skin around them).
2. In the PM:
– After scrubbing my face and neck and applying a toner, I massage the Youth Boosting Night Cream on my face, and again the Youth Boosting Eye Cream around the sensitive eye area.
After 3 months of daily use, I genuinely declare that my complexion looks rejuvenated beyond a shadow of a doubt. The dullness has gone. My skin is hydrated so those very fine wrinkles that started appearing around my eyes when I laugh are now significantly less visible, and I no longer suffer from the usual dry spots around my chin and mouth area, which was a usual problem for me during wintertime. I’m also happy that thanks to the night-cream formula, my skin looks well-rested in the morning, even when it’s not.
To me the results are amazing because I never wear foundation on a daily basis (I only dab some concealer to cover up my under-eye dark circles), and my skin looks almost as perfect as I want it to be: Fresh with a homogenous colour-tone.
