The L’Oreal Professionnel Show in Beirut
Held at O1Ne, Beirut, on May 19th, the L’Oreal Professionnel Show was by far one of the best hair-design live shows the Lebanese capital has ever witnessed.
Everything was well organised and meticulously executed. From the seating arrangements, catering, music and video, to the models’ choreography, costumes and hairstyles, one could not but feel overwhelmingly inspired by the stunning visual art presented that night.
Denis Holbecq, one of L’Oreal Professionel’s international ambassadors executed hair transformations live on the stage. We got to see that not only Marilyn Monroe’s short wavy curls and bleached hair is super trendy this summer, as well as long strands with dark shades (lucky me). Beachy waves, both messy or in elegant structures were also exhibited in different lengths, in addition to volumous updo’s for formal occasions.
In brief, curled volumes are in this season when it comes to styling, whereas extreme black, homogenous browns, a little bit of red, or extremely light blond are the ‘it colours’ to be strutted this summer.
While Denis was performing his art, the models swayed all over the stage in perfect sync with the music, donning different day to evening looks, all crowned by beautiful hair styles that designate ‘It Looks’ of this summer 2015 accruing to L’Oreal Professionnel. It is worthy to mention that all the models’ hairstyles and attires were genuinely a marvel to our eyes.
The audience consisted of L’Oreal Professionnel international and regional teams, ambassadors, leading Lebanese hairdressers, media personas, as well as bloggers and socialites, and everybody clapped in awe whenever a new artistic tableau was presented on the stage.
Without further adieu, here are some pictures from the event (please excuse the dark pixelated quality, the venue was beautifully lit exclusively in the centre in order to showcase the stage):
